Myles Goodwyn, the accomplished musician from Nova Scotia, known for his role as the lead singer of April Wine, passed away on Sunday, as confirmed by his publicist, Eric Alper. The 75-year-old artist, residing in the Halifax area, had stepped down from his position in April Wine earlier this year.

Goodwyn’s legacy with April Wine includes remarkable achievements such as selling over 10 million albums worldwide, earning 11 Juno nominations, and the band’s induction into Canada’s Walk of Fame in the current year. Additionally, Myles Goodwyn himself was honored with induction into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame. The cause of his death remains unclear.
